Overview

Sons of Vancouver – No. 82 Amaretto

Sons of Vancouver Distillery - No 82 Craft Amaretto
The Spirit

Created with apricot kernels, vanilla beans and BC blackberry honey the Sons of Vancouver No. 82 Amaretto is sweet, complex and a very unique craft spirit. One of only a small hand full of craft distilleries in North America making an Amaretto this is something truly special. It is called No. 82 as there were at least 81 batches prior to this recipe that were improved upon to make the final product.

Tasting Notes (by thespiritofbc.com)

The texture of honey sweetness smooths out the start of the No. 82 Amaretto. Notes of apricot, almond, and a rather strong vanilla flavour add to the honey sweetness. Incredibly smooth, tantalizingly flavoured and intelligently created, the No. 82 is absolutely delicious.

On The Label

Inspired by our mothers’ canning recipes and a 16th century love story our No. 82 Amaretto is made with five simple, whole ingredients. It starts with apricot kernels, bourbon vanilla beans and orange peel. Then it’s sweetened with demerara brown sugar and BC blackberry honey to create one tastefully balanced Liqueur.

Sons of Vancouver is a really, really small batch distillery on Vancouver’s North Shore. It was born out of a young foolhardy desire to follow passions and contribute to a growing community of independent distillers. James and Richard are the guys behind the curtain who have created this selection of dynamite BC spirits using really, really local grains. Enjoy.
